I believe that the circle of people around me, friends or family, are an integral part of leading a fulfilling life. What I find most comforting in friends and family is being able to openly share my struggles and hardships with, having people around me who I can rebound off of for advice, direction and support is absolutely crucial. On the other hand its wonderful to have people around you with whom you can celebrate your achievements with or just share general banter! To me, my friends are my family and my family are my friends. My circle of people around me are like safety nets- we have to have them. When one tears or wears down, the rest come together even stronger to lift them up again.

I am a very passionate person! However, The injustice the neurodivergent and non-able bodies communities face even in modern day Australia (and globally) has and will always be something i have felt a profound need to fight for. Having been surrounded by so many gorgeous members of the community throughout my life- one wonders how such an injustice can exist?! I have elected to study International Relations and Political Science at Flinders University with the hopes to make real change. To make Australia an accessible country at no cost and to spread awareness and education to the general public. My passion is to use my privilege and access to higher education to give minorities what they have deserved for decades and decades.

My ideal weekend would start with a calm and quiet slow morning in bed with my cat and dog snoozing at my feet, followed by the scent of bacon and eggs wafting from the kitchen. After breakfast I might take my Rhodesian Ridgeback for a walk through Brown Hill Creek (an obscenely beautiful location just behind Mitcham) he absolutely loves the creek for a swim! I love to be in the kitchen so next I will invite my best friend over for some lunch and afternoon tea on the porch koala spotting. By now my social battery is drained so its time for either a nana-nap or some well earned gaming! I love to play video games like animal crossing new horizons! As the sun goes down I can usually smell my culinary wizard (my Mum) whipping up a lovely feed for my sister and I. After dinner we elect the person with the most convincing speech as to why their choice of movie is superior to switch on their choice and by the end we have to rate and rank it on our movie chart (it gets tense)! Then off to bed!

Interesting Fact About Me

I build and collect mechanical keyboards! The hobby is relatively new with only a couple clubs in Adelaide which I think adds to its charm! first I chose what colour and size I want the base of the keyboard, then I collect the materials needed to build all the nerdy-technical stuff inside, followed by the keycaps and BOOM you have a custom built keyboard.
